Micheal Kayode shows himself with his first senior Italy goal on target in a 4 –

1 win over Turkey in the Nations League, but Ji-soo Kim contributes South Korea for the Asian Games Final to turn this dream into real.

Micheal Kayode got on the score sheet on his senior international debut as Italy beat Turkey 4-1 in the Nations League on Monday evening.

The Brentford full-back started in Bursa and scored after 27 minutes, as Roberto Mancini’s side managed to pull off their first win of the campaign.

Kayode had already been involved in Italy’s second goal five minutes earlier, when Davide Frattesi reacted quickest after the Bees defender’s shot was blocked by Altay Bayındır.

The 22-year-old then got his international debut under his belt, when he finished off  Pio Esposito’s pass  to give the away team a 3-0 lead in the first half.

Kayode played the full 90 minutes as Italy got the victory, with Alessandro Bastoni and Pio Esposito also scoring.

Meanwhile, in the Nations League, Hákon Valdimarsson didn’t let a single goal in as Iceland smashed Luxembourg 3-0.

Andri Guðjohnsen and Orri Óskarsson scored for Iceland before half time. Then Victor Pálsson added another in the second half.

Valdimarsson played the whole game as Iceland kept their opponents to just one goal on target.

As  Scotland lost 3-0 to Switzerland at Hampden Park, Aaron Hickey was on the bench but never got on.

Jack Hendry got sent off in the eighth minute, and the Ricardo Rodriguez scored from free kick. Nico Elvedi and Zeki Amdouni got in on the action after the break with some more goals.

Great Result For Ji-soo Kim and the South Korea Under -23s On Wednesday.

With the contribution of Ji-soo Kim, they made it to the Asian Final with a 2-1 comeback victory over China.

Ji-soo started in central defence for South Korea, who found themselves behind after half an hour. Things were level after Lee Young-jun headed in , then Bae Jun-ho scored the winner eight minutes before the end.

This Saturday, South Korea and Japan will be going head-to-head for the gold medal in the men’s football tournament. If they win, this will be South Korea’s fourth Asian Games victory in a row.

What Can We Say About The 2027 Africa Cup of National Qualifiers?

Mamadou Sangaré played almost the whole game as Mali got another win, making it two wins out of two with 1-0 victory away to Liberia.

Ange Martial Tia got the winner in the 79th minute , with Sangaré off during the stoppage time at the end.

El Hadji Malick Diouf also played the full 90 minutes as Senegal got their first win under Patrick Vieira, beating Ethiopia 1-0 in Bahir Dar.

Ibrahim Mbaye scored the only goal after 11 minutes, with Diouf flying down the keft as Senegal kept their first clean sheet of the group stage.

Benjamin Fredrick didn’t play as Nigeria lost 3-0 to Guinea Bissau. It took just 15 minutes for Franculino Dju to open the scoring for the hosts, with Mama Baldé doubling their advantage in the second half. Álvaro Djaló then added a third late on.

Dango Outttara wasn’t there as Burkino Faso beat Central African Republic 1-0 in Casablanca. Substitute Aboubacar Camara got the only goal just after the hour to give Burkino Faso their first win of the qualifying campaign.

At youth level, Jai Nwosu came back on the pitch as England Under-17s came from behind to beat Israel 2-1 in Duisburg. With an Israel own goal and a strike from Hezekiah-Daniel Grimwade, the game changed for the Young Lions after 77 minutes, when the uk/local/hounslow/brentford/">Brentford forward was introduced.

The USA Under-19s squad opened their three-match schedule at a Marbella training camp with a 2-0 victory over Wales, with Aidan Stokes playing a part. The opening of the scoring was by Brandon Dayes shortly before half-time, followed by a Wales own goal doubling the USA’s advantage after the break.
